Replacements for Fostoria Elements

A Tail of 2 Caps
When our Company was formed in 1984 there was a ceramic cap we called the 'heavy duty cap'. This cap was tooled by another company as an alternative to the 'long neck' Fostoria and to be compatible with the existing parts used for most other caps at the time. Over the years we made many thousands of lamps with these caps, many of which were replacements for Fostoria models.

The Bottom Line
These models are equivilent to the Fostoria, but the lead wire models have a shorter tip on the caps. They are 100% compatible. The key dimension to use for reference is the Shoulder to Shoulder (S-S) Dimension.
